We have supported many organizations with our tools and knowledge to improve the way they work with farmers. Over the past 5 years, Farmerline and its partnership network has profiled and served over 200,000 farmers and mapped over 700,000 acres of farmland across 11 countries.

Position Overview
Be in charge of the bookkeeping functions for Farmerline’s operations (Farmer Services and Corporate Services) and assist in other accounting and administrative processes for the organization.
Major Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for Corporate Services and Farmer Services transactions (accounts receivables and accounts payable).
- Prepare scheduled and adhoc financial reports for Corporate Services and Farmer Services as required by management.
- Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed by all staff members.
- Process payment requests in an organized manner.
- Make recommendations to management on ways to improve the internal control system.
- Perform various reconciliations: GL accounts, debtors accounts, creditors accounts, agent accounts, loan accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Monitoring purchasing procedures and periodic checks of stock.
- Manage office petty cash.
- Assist in the general administration of the Accra and/or Kumasi office.
- Attending to all management reporting requirement as and when necessary.
- Managing statutory returns and submission (e.g PAYE, SSNIT).
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training

- Degree in Accounting or advanced stage of a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, etc).
- At least 2 years solid working experience that provided exposure to all or most of the above responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be computer literate and be able to use Ms. Excel.
- A team player who pays attention to detail.
