Responsibilities and duties
Develops Proposals/Concepts for clients.
- Gathers data on specific client activities to facilitate the development of proposals for assigned clients.
- Develops and implements proposals/concepts for clients
Develop Communication strategies and plans for clients.
- Examines annual operational/marketing plans of clients to determine their communication needs.
- Evolves appropriate communication plans to support the operational/marketing plans of clients.
Act as Coordinator for Accounts assigned
- Implements communication plans of assigned clients.
- Offers advisory services to clients
- Organizes and cover meetings and events in relation to the assigned Accounts.
- Evolves innovative communications activities for clients
- Coordinates press coverage for clients’ activities
- Facilitates clients engagement with stakeholders
- Analyzes media clippings on clients with appropriate recommendations
- Develops communications/editorial materials such as speeches, speaking points, Press Releases, feature articles, synopsis and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) etc, for clients.
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies for clients including:
- Content development and posting
- Managing campaigns
- Monitoring and evaluation of campaigns
Reporting
- Prepare activity, contact, weekly, and monthly reports on work done for assigned clients as required.
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Required Skills or Experience
Education and related experience
- A good first degree in communications or related discipline
- A second degree will be an advantage
- At least 7 years working experience in the media
- Significant knowledge of the media landscape in Ghana
- Must be social media savvy
