Job Summary
• Plan, design and implement new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current It network of the company
• Design specifications for establishing security in the networks and protecting vulnerable databases and information
• Prepare budgets for the network department and recommend the standardised software and hardward for the company
• Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware for the company
• Update the antivirus, firewall and spyware softwares regularly
• Maintain remote monitoring systems and keep a track of the use of resources used by employees and the end users
• Sets authentication and authorization and manager user from accessing important and vital information available
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Reporting network status to key stakeholders

Qualification Required & Experience
• Sound knowledge of network software and hardware
• Ability to use the available resources wisely and establish efficient network systems
• Regularly update knowledge about the new advanced technologies in the designs
• Should have managerial skills and should be a good team member
• Expertise in identifying problems in the existing systems and upgrade them with the new and more efficient ones
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Good communication skills - both written and verbal
• MSc Computer Science / Computer systems Engineering / Network Security Management
