Purpose of the Role
To Provide governance and run the cards strategy for the e2e Card Operations performance and Client Experience to bring about value to the business and Operations. Additionally, to strengthen controls and exceptions monitoring, and maintain a strong stakeholder engagement with external parties, Business, GBS and other Group Project and Country teams to deliver strategic projects to operations and in line with SLA.
The Role Responsibilities
- Driving end-to-end delivery of all Card request from Frontline to GBS and EDC for Product fulfillments in line with established service standards.
- Oversee daily monitoring of operations; cards stock, embossing and Printing, settlements, shadow CDM card and Bill payments, QR code, P2P activities related to cards, cardless withdrawals recons.
- Managing risk and compliance in Conduct, Contracts, SLAs and other Group and Country regulations and Procedures. Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
- Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
- Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements and tabling dispensations or aligning controls.
- Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
- Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
- Provide at least 2 service improvement initiate to help improve the way we work by end of YoY. Demonstrate results of continuous improvement to the reconciliation process and tracking of issues within the unit.
- Engagement and documentation of evidence of stakeholders SRMs including third party in line with service standards with prompt feedback to stakeholders.
- Share updated MIS and TAT reports for the efficient management of the cards shop and stock levels to avoid shortages.
- Continue to embed risk culture in all staff and also educate staff on risk involved in our processes to ensure good audit results. Achieved this through quarterly discussion on RISK and any review findings/gaps, spot checks and cross units reviews copied jobwebghana.

- Degree holder
- MBA will be an added advantage.
- 5 years Banking experience
- Analytical and good communication skills
- Stakeholder managements.
- Knowledgeable with excel and presentation skills
- Able to adapt and accept change
- Thorough knowledge of Card Operations processes
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
