Job title: Business Development Executive                                              

Job location: Accra                                                               

Salary: Very competitive with 10% commission and transport         

Start: Immediate

 

Responsibilities:

●       Coordinate presentation deliverables, travel management and planning.

●       Basic design layout and production knowledge

●       Develop an outreach plan to include cold-calling, direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects

●       Understand publisher business needs and work with leadership team to develop tailored digital partnerships, programs and proposals (i.e. revenue share, bounties)

●       Pitching products and service to potential clients

●       Identify new sales leads

●       Researching organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets

●       Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing

●       Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

●       Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

●       Preparing PowerPoints presentations and sales displays

●       Developing quotes and proposals

●       Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met

●       Monitor status of proposal development-related documents for completeness

●       Manage proposal content production and perform multiple rounds of reviews and edits leading to final proposal review

●       Manage content production and collection for proposals and presentations

 

Experience and Qualifications required:

●       Strong communications skills and IT savvy

●       In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events

●       Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

●       Excellent time management and organization

●       Attention to detail

●       Tenacious and creative sales approach

●       A self-starter who can spot new opportunities

●       3-5 years of working experience in a similar role
