Purpose

The Senior IT Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive the planning, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions across LMI Digital’s diverse sectors. This role ensures the effective operation of infrastructure, enterprise systems (including Sage ERP), cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives, while mentoring a high-performing IT team. The Manager will align technology with business goals to enhance operational efficiency, enable growth, and maintain a strong compliance and security posture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide deep technical oversight on infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.

IT Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT team covering systems, networks, support, cybersecurity, and application specialists.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.

Enterprise Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee hybrid cloud/on-prem environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware).
  • Ensure 24/7 availability, scalability, and performance of core systems and networks.

Enterprise Applications & ERP

  • Manage the administration, support, and optimization of enterprise systems, including Sage ERP.
  • Integrate business-critical apps across sectors, such as EMRs, fintech platforms, and public digital systems.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Establish, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, protocols, and incident response plans.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and data privacy laws.

Project Management & Transformation

  • Plan and lead strategic IT projects—cloud migrations, digital workplace tools, data center upgrades, etc.
  • Apply structured frameworks (Agile, PMP, ITIL) to deliver on time and budget.

Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, MSPs, and internal business leaders.
  • Ensure SLAs, contract performance, and value delivery are consistently met.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing a technical team and owning full IT operations

Strong Expertise In

  • Networking (Cisco, Fortinet, VPNs, VLANs)
  • Cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure)
  • Systems administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux)
  • ERP & business systems: Sage (required), others an asset
  • Security: Firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, DR planning
  • Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash
  • Certifications highly preferred: PMP, ITIL v4, Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP, CISSP

  • Strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and vendors, enabling innovation and growth.
