Shapeways.io is a tech training company that equips individuals with in-demand digital and technical skills, preparing them for remote job opportunities in the global market. Our programs focus on web development, digital marketing, and other high-growth tech fields. We are looking for a Social Media Intern to help enhance our online presence, drive student recruitment, and manage digital campaigns effectively.

Role Description

We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and results-oriented Social Media Intern to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing our brand’s online presence, running targeted ad campaigns, and engaging with potential students to drive enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing and Advertising

  • Plan and manage paid digital marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives and targeting to improve campaign performance.
  • Track and analyze key metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other analytics tools.
  • Optimize landing pages and ad funnels to increase conversion rates.

Social Media Management and Growth

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries to increase engagement and community growth.
  • Implement strategies to increase followers and reach while maintaining brand consistency.

Content Creation and Graphic Design

  • Design high-quality graphics, posters, and promotional materials using Canva or Adobe tools.
  • Create engaging short-form videos and reels for social media.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with brand messaging.

SEO and Website Optimization

  • Research and implement SEO best practices to improve website ranking and visibility.
  • Optimize blog and web content for search engines.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work with the admissions team to align marketing strategies with student recruitment goals.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on social media and campaign performance.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and platform updates to improve strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategy, and online branding.
  • Experience managing and growing social media pages for brands or businesses.
  • Ability to create eye-catching graphics and video content using Canva or Adobe tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.

Salary Expectations: Ghc1500

Location: Weija-Kasoa, Ghana
