We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Officer to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will lead growth initiatives, expand our market presence, and forge strategic partnerships within the IT infrastructure domain.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.

2. Lead Generation and Qualification

  • Qualify leads from Sales Executives as sales opportunities.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

3. Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Present our company to potential clients.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and OEMs.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and OEMs.

4. Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-level consultations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the company's value propositions.

5. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the business development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enhancing their skills and performance.

6. Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and present insightful market analyses and performance reports to senior management.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align strategies and achieve collective objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

8. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Report to the CEO on monthly/quarterly sales results.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development roles within the IT industry or related sectors such as technology solutions, telecommunications, software development, or cybersecurity.
