The DCL graduate internship program is a paid internship program designed to provide recent graduates with useful hands-on exposure to the business world by providing solid on-the-job training and mentorship to Interns. Position Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager, providing support across a range of functions while developing a strong foundation in HR practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HR information system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and help organize company events and activities.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing HR documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries and resolving routine HR issues.
  • Participate in performance management processes, including tracking and documenting employee performance.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute ideas for improving HR processes.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A recent graduate with HND or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
