Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the following positions at the Gaming Commission of Ghana: Assistant Research, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation(RPME) Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input in the formulation of policies of the commission
  • Collect data for the preparation of strategic, medium term and annual plans of the hiring organization
  • Collect data for the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes and activities of the hiring organization
  • Collect data for the development of performance indicators for monitoring and evaluation
  • Collect data for the timely production and dissemination of research, monitoring and evaluation reports
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Directorate
  • Collect data for the preparation of the budget and annual work plan of the Directorate

Qualification Required & Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, statistics, sociology or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution
  • Must have completed national service
  • Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the hiring organization in collaboration with the Public Services Commission

Competencies

  • Good leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of relevant technology in the Gaming Industry
  • Very good quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of financial, procurement, budgeting and auditing regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant IT applications
  • High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
