Applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the following position at the Gaming Commission of Ghana as an Assistant Inspection, Investigations, Compliance & Enforcement Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data for the development of guidelines, processes and procedures for investigation and enforcement of standards in the industry
- Collect data for the development of a database on the programmes and activities of the Directorate
- Undertake data entry programmes and activities for the Directorate
- Facilitate the inspection of facilities for compliance
- Facilitate the enforcement of the standards of the commission
- Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Directorate.
- Collect data for the preparation of the budget and annual work plan of the Directorate

Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or any other related field from an accredited tertiary institution
- Must have completed National Service
- Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the hiring organization in collaboration with the Public Service Commission
Competencies
- Good leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good negotiation, diplomacy and lobbying skills
- Good quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills
- Good knowledge and experience in laws and regulations of the industry
- Knowledge of relevant IT applications
- High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
