Mantrac Ghana LTD is hiring an Assistant Credit Controller.
Primary Role
This role is responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial records are accurate and up to date. This involves full adherence to policies, procedures, internal controls and financial due processes by the Business. Key duties including timely payments, follow up on overdue invoices from credit customers, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery
Additionally, this role requires monitoring to ensure that invoices are generated and sent to customers promptly and also collaborates closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve corporate objectives

Duties/Responsibilities
- Review monthly debtors Aging Analysis, investigating any anomalies/variances that require additional explanation and reconciliation
- Allocate and match all payments on both cash and credit customers account before the end of each month. Also move all payments on customers accounts relating to future invoicing to advance payment accounts
- Review customers accounts statements on weekly basis, reconcile and liaise with the Salespersons to confirm details of payments / cash received. Also resolving any query from the customers with respective salespersons
- Ensuring credit customers statements are reconciled and sent on regularly for review and queries from customers are addressed promptly
- Review all credit sales agreements regularly and pass the necessary journal vouchers for monthly installments due
- Besides those above, any other duties required from the Credit Manager
Qualification Required & Experience
- BSc/HND Degree in Accounting from any recognized institution
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in an accounting role
- Professional qualifications like ICA, CAG, and ACCA at their advanced level will be an added advantage
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry is an added advantage
