About The Role

The role will be responsible for selling value-added-services (VAS) to FI clients. This includes understanding market needs, identifying partnership opportunities, and problem solving with clients to create new sales opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a “hunter” sales mentality with a proven track-record for closing large Fintech deals against clear KPI. In addition, the candidate must be highly collaborative, strategic, customer oriented and bring a structured & disciplined approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Fintech & VAS sales by generating leads; making presentations; explaining product and service enhancements and additions to existing clients as well as prospective clients. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product/service results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
  • Liaise with NI Product team/ VAS team and seek partnership from regional/local firms who are providing services/products which are complimentary in nature so as to add to the existing basket of services. Once the relationship is established manage the partners effectively to the maximum advantage of Network International.
  • Takes Ownership and grows Mobile Money business across GLSG. Signs and deals with all MoMo operators in the region.
  • Be a trusted partner supporting the relationships with Networks International customers.
  • Effectively escalate on customers behalf within Network, and ensure the issue is resolved in a prompt manner.
  • Provide input and participate in new product development.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Company.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in account management in the payments industry or similar aspects of financial services.
  • Must have prior customer service experience.
  • Proven account/sales management experience dealing with high-net-worth clients.
  • Sales Lead generation & pipeline management experience.
  • Cards System & Product Knowledge.
  • Excellent English language skills is highly desirable.

Key Performance Indicators

  • 10% Increase in revenue generated from VAS sales to Fintech (Inclusive of MoMo) over previous years revenue (Upsell and Cross Sell).
  • Signs a minimum of 2 fintech’s each year and ensures that a minimum of 1 fintech implemented unto production within the same year
  • Client Retention Rate.
  • Customer profitability.
  • Customer Satisfaction Index.
  • Timeliness of client problem/ issue resolution.
  • Client activity levels.
  • Success with transitioning new accounts
