What you will do
- Responsible for ensuring full compliance with regulations, policies, directives, circulars and memos
- Determine compliance review, scope and develop annual compliance plan
- Conduct periodic checks and review compliance with the above-mentioned documents
- Provide clarity and awareness of regulations, policies, processes, circulars and directives to employees
- Prepare and present reports that reflect compliance review results to the line manager
- Identify loopholes and make risk management recommendations
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and recommendations
- Support in the efficient operation of the compliance function
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager
Who you are
- A bachelor’s degree in risk management, economics, finance, accounting or its equivalent in any field.
- 2-3 years of supervisory level experience in Operations, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance or any other related function in a financial institution.
Skills/General Requirements
- Good understanding of Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Control
- Ability to make a sound independent judgment
- Good communication, writing and reporting skills
- Analytical and good attention to details
- Willing and able to be innovative
