Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Shift Supervisor in Accra. The shift supervisor creates an awesome customer experience and keep things in good order for the client. Daily, they supervise employees during their shift and make sure that tasks are completed and staff are motivated to work effectively.

Shift supervisor skills include contributing to the production strategy by knowing the business goals of the contracting client and how to achieve them. They also act as a reference point for outsourced employees and customers, ready to fix problems that occasionally arise. Ultimately, they help maintain LEASAFRIC Logistics reputation before the client by ensuring daily duties are completed and goals are met. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Senior Factory Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily schedules, employee shifts, and time-off requests
- Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress
- Ensure that daily sales/production goals are met
- Count cash at the end of the shift and manage bank deposits
- Train and integrate new workers
- Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed
- Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed
- Handle customer and employee complaints
Required Skills or Experience
- High School Diploma: A degree in Management will be a plus
- Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role is very recommended
- Full understanding of industry safety standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of basic software, such as Word and Excel
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as standing up for long hours and lifting heavy loads occasionally
- Working well within a team
- Ability to multitask
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent managerial and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership and conflict-management skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Ability to handle money accurately
