Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Events marketing and coordinating officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. The role requires a blend of marketing expertise and hands-on event coordination, ensuring the seamless execution of various events.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Actively promote and market the event space to potential clients.
  • Visit local businesses, event planners, and other organizations to showcase the venue and build relationships.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase event bookings, including digital marketing, direct outreach, and attending relevant industry events.
  • Develop tailored conference and meeting packages that cater to different types of events (e.g., corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, social gatherings).

Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Assist clients with choosing appropriate event packages, including catering, audio-visual equipment, décor, and other services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring clear communication and addressing concerns.
  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staff coordination, and ensuring that all services are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all necessary resources are available.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

  • Proven experience in event coordination, with a strong focus on both marketing and operational tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinking with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
