As a Field Service Operator, you'll provide offshore and onshore support to customers and BH for Subsea installation, maintenance, repair HPU, operation and decommissioning of controls Subsea equipment and services. The role will require flexible working hours and an ability to adapt to daily challenges, working with team members locally and remotely.

As Field Service Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating job/task performance for product and overall operation
  • Performing and coordinating onsite operations
  • Understanding that the role can include job/task review, execution and follow-up
  • Having a safety mindset, understanding of HSE requirements, and working confident
  • Being consistent use of GRID/TeamCentre/Pre-Job Planning
  • Having job deliverables without Non-Productive Time (NPT)
  • Participating actively in Lessons Learned Reporting

 
Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a relevant Technical Education / Apprenticeship Certificate 
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in Subsea Services
  • Being skilled at discussing technical problems and solutions with the Customer. 
  • Having good knowledge and good mechanical/electrical aptitude, works and communicates well with others
  • Demonstrating confident knowledge of product group and working environment.
  • Being skilled and confident in performing Troubleshooting and Repair work.
  • Have relevant experience in field services role
  • Have a good knowledge of appropriate Baker Hughes products and equipment.
  • Being fully competent with all Baker Hughes Digital processes e.g. GRID, NPT/SIRCam/Agility/EPIMS/Engage direct etc.
  • Have working Proficiency in written & spoken English. 
  • Being knowledgeable of Drilling and Production processes related to Baker Hughes tools.
  • Being familiar with Offshore Installation processes.
  • Have experience from several Offshore Installations and with a basic knowledge of the different working routines of typical Operating companies.
  • Have completed approved Safety Training as required
