JOB PURPOSE
As a Montessori Teacher at Kairos Restoration Academy you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young Learners. Utilizing the Montessori method, you will develop and implement individualized lesson plans that foster independence, creativity and critical thinking.

You will monitor each Learner’s progress, communicate effectively with parents and guardians and ensure a safe and organized classroom. Your role is pivotal in guiding Learner’s holistic development and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement the Montessori method to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop and execute lesson plans tailored to the needs of each Learner.
- Foster independence, creativity and critical thinking in Learners.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each Learner and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Required Skills or Experience
RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Certified Montessori Teacher with relevant qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience in a Montessori classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, learning processes, preschool education and regulatory standards.
- Must possess excellent communication, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to commit to excellence and deliver agreed performance outcomes.
- Ability to provide effective supervision and instil discipline in a learning environment.
- Flexible, with the ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds.
