JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Digital Marketing Officer to join our dynamic sales and marketing team. This role will focus on developing and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, with the ability to analyze data and adapt strategies accordingly.
You will also be responsible for managing USSD products, collaborating closely with the IT Manager to ensure seamless technology integration, and reporting directly to the CDO to align marketing efforts with sales objectives. Additionally, you will work with the CDO on go-to-market and distribution strategies and have specific sales targets to meet and report on.

SEO and SEM
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content to improve organic search rankings.
- Manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) to maximize ROI and achieve marketing goals.
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness across various platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and opportunities to enhance brand reputation.
Email Marketing
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
- Analyze email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better results.
Customer Insights and Research
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours.
- Utilize insights to refine marketing strategies and enhance customer engagement.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed for campaign execution.
Brand Management
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms and marketing materials.
- Monitor brand reputation and respond to customer inquiries and feedback online.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in digital marketing, with a strong focus on online advertising, SEO, SEM, and social media management.
- Experience managing USSD products or similar mobile service offerings is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and marketing automation software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
