The Junior Marketing Officer will support the marketing team in the planning, execution, and optimization of our marketing efforts, both online and offline. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a keen interest in learning and growing in this dynamic field.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities. Regularly analyze competitor offerings, sales strategies, and marketing tactics to provide actionable insights.
  • Content Creation: Support in creating content for social media channels and other marketing platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Digital Marketing: Help in the development of digital messaging across all brands within BURN’s portfolio.

  • Social Media: Monitor social media platforms for ongoing campaigns, and customer feedback with regards to our products.
  • Market Visits: Regularly visit markets or retail locations to gather insights, understand consumer behaviour, and monitor brand presence. Provide feedback based on market visits.
  • Reports: support in the generation of monthly marketing activity reports.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors or agencies, when necessary.
  • Marketing Department Finance tracking: track marketing budget spend per country as well as weekly cash sheet.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of basic marketing principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as required for market visits.
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Competitor analysis and insights
