Your Role
In this full-time role, you will be at the forefront of Rainforest Builder Ghana's reforestation efforts, The Quality Control Forester will report directly to the Planning Forester and will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our tropical rainforest regeneration projects for carbon sequestration.
Your work will play a pivotal role in guiding our restoration planning and forest monitoring, ensuring the accuracy and impact of our carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation goals. We seek a committed professional prepared to fully engage with our mission and contribute consistently to our long-term vision.

Your Responsibilities
- Supervision and Training: Supervise and train the Quality Control crew in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize mobile mapping systems, GPS devices, and remote sensing technologies to assess forest regeneration progress.
- Quantity Surveying: Oversee all quantity surveying activities including GPS boundary surveying, boundary demarcations and ground truthing of Rainforest Builder Ghana Leased landholdings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using mobile mapping applications like Avenza and CarryMaps.
- Proficiency in using field data collection tools such as Kobo Collect, ODK Collect, ArcGIS Field Maps, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in quality control assessments and reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable forest management practices.
