We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and sales, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver tailored asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Closing:

  • Identify, generate, and nurture leads across the entire asset management lifecycle.
  • Develop tailored proposals and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle.

Technical Expertise:

  • Understand clients' technical and operational needs, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present technical proposals and presentations.

Market Insights:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market demands in asset management and maintenance.
  • Provide input to refine Western Premium’s product and service offerings.

Sales Strategy:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies for business growth.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and other data as required by management.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field) or equivalent technical background.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technical or engineering solutions.
  • Experience in asset management or related industries is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM, CMMS and EAM tools and MS Office Suite.
