About the role:
The role is to facilitate the movement of imported cargo and keep customers satisfied with any and all details of shipments. Provides immediate response to customer inquiries; provides timely information to Customs and the terminals and provides paperwork and electronic data to various locations.
Your responsibility:
- Provides full customer service on all inbound questions including arrival information, charges due, delivery location of cargo,and information on Bill of Lading and Manifest to the consignee.
- Supplies terminals with updated and current manifests for inbound shipments.
- Coordinates on-carriage shipments.
- Handles vessel releasing responsibilities at the terminals and monitors containers until out-gated.
- Contacts internal and external customers via e-mail and phone when additional information is necessary for shipments.
- Communicates with worldwide offices to track freight.
- Contacts customers if goods are placed on hold by Customs.
- Keeps proper archives and maintains files of data as required by ISO9002.
- Investigate and provide problem resolution.
- Prepares invoices for any additional charges that may have been incurred on a shipment.
- Prepares overdue containers report weekly and updates customers on status.
- Monitors arrival notices sent by Agents.

Your profile:
- University degree
- Experience: 2 years
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Able to work well with others and follow guidelines
- Positive attitude/ team player
- Receptive, able to grasp new ideas and self-motivated
- Preferable knowledge of internal Company Systems
