Global Affairs Canada is seeking to recruit an Agricultural Technical Specialist.
Job Summary
The consultant will assist with the development of frameworks and guidelines to help promote and enhance the long-term sustainability of agriculture practices introduced under the MAG Program such as the support to women agro-processing groups and the new extension initiatives
The Consultant applying for this position must have the following knowledge and qualifications
- Experience working in agricultural interventions related to international development

The Consultant should have the following experience and skills:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Ghana
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing agricultural development programmes, particularly those focused on improving productivity and market linkages for farmers
- Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and advisory services to women-led agricultural enterprises, especially in agro-processing
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of agricultural programmes, with the ability to recommendations for improvement
- Excellent English writing skills
