The purpose of the role is
- Sourcing funds for procurement and other operational activities
- Tracking revenue, payments and expenses and preparing Financial Reports for both Internal and external users
Role Definition and Accountabilities
- Collecting, reviewing and interpreting financial information
- Preparation of operational budgets, reviewing, monitoring, and managing the budgets
- Prepare financial reports relating to accounts payable, accounts receivables, expenses, revenues, payments and receipts
- Conduct variance analysis of actual operational and financial performance to budget
- Coordinate and review the activities of the treasury team and other accounts staff
- Predicting future financial trends and performance
- Developing and maintaining a financial risk register and devising strategies that work to minimize the financial risks
- Coordinate and manage stakeholders such as Bankers and GRA.
