- Prepare detailed flight plans, including route, altitude, speed, and fuel requirements.
- Analyze weather forecasts, NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen), and air traffic information to determine optimal routing.
- Coordinate with air traffic control (ATC) and adjust flight plans as necessary for changes in weather or airspace restrictions.
- Provide pilots with comprehensive pre-flight briefings, including details on weather, flight route, alternate airports, and potential hazards.
- Ensure that all necessary flight documentation is prepared and available for the crew, such as flight logs and fuel calculations.
- Track and monitor aircraft movements and progress throughout the flight using flight tracking systems.
- Communicate with the flight crew to provide updates on weather changes, airport conditions, and any potential reroutes or delays.
- Work closely with ground handling agents, fuel suppliers, and maintenance crews to ensure that aircraft are serviced and prepared for departure.
- Manage the turnaround time of aircraft to minimize delays and ensure efficient open.
- Ensure that the aircraft's weight and balance are within safe limits for takeoff and landing.
- Collaborate with cargo and passenger services to confirm that baggage and freight are properly loaded and distributed.
- Ensure all flight operations comply with Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations and international standards (e.g., ICAO standards).
- Update pilots and crew on any regulatory changes or operational procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of flight plans, dispatch logs, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Provide reports and data analysis to assist in operational improvements and compliance audits.
Requirement:
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (GCAA, ICAO).
- Proficiency in flight planning software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Qualification:
- A degree or diploma in aviation, transportation, or a related field.
- Completion of a Flight Dispatch course accredited by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
- Relevant certifications, such as the GCAA Flight Operations Officer License.
