The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA) is an independent regulatory body established by the NRA Act, 2015 (Act 895) and began operations in January 2016. The NRA has a statutory responsibility for regulating civilian use of nuclear and other radioactive materials and is preparing itself to regulate Ghana’s nuclear power programme.
Job Description
The NRA is seeking to recruit to fill various positions in its organisational structure. The NRA hereby invites qualified Ghanaians to apply for the position of Senior IT Technologist
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, ensuring efficient and effective ICT operations.
- Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications, troubleshooting and debugging existing software, and ensuring the smooth operation of ICT systems and infrastructure including databases and networks.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. Programming certifications or experience in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL, Python, C++ would be needed.
