Driver - High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Accra, Ghana is seeking suitable and qualified applicants for the position of Driver.

Job Description

• Driving staff or the High Commission
• Driving official delegations, including occasional field trips in Ghana and also outside Ghana
• Maintaining Car in a clean condition, maintenance and repairs
• Must be willing to work in the evening and weekends

Qualification Required & Experience

• Junior High School and above
• Basic proficiency in English Language and ability to communicate in the local dialect (Twi and Ga)
• Valid Ghanaian driver’s license category C and above
• Must have 5 years of experience as a professional driver for known institutions preferably Diplomatic Missions/International Organisations
• Good familiarity with the road network in Accra and good knowledge of the rest of Ghana
• Excellent time management
• Familiarity with diplomatic protocols and security practices
• Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and troubleshoot issues
• Courteous and service-oriented
