The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Accra, Ghana is seeking suitable and qualified applicants for the position of Driver.
Job Description
- Driving staff or the High Commission
- Driving official delegations, including occasional field trips in Ghana and also outside Ghana
- Maintaining Car in a clean condition, maintenance and repairs
- Must be willing to work in the evening and weekends
Qualification Required & Experience
- Junior High School and above
- Basic proficiency in English Language and ability to communicate in the local dialect (Twi and Ga)
- Valid Ghanaian driver’s license category C and above
- Must have 5 years of experience as a professional driver for known institutions preferably Diplomatic Missions/International Organisations
- Good familiarity with the road network in Accra and good knowledge of the rest of Ghana
- Excellent time management
- Familiarity with diplomatic protocols and security practices
- Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and troubleshoot issues
- Courteous and service-oriented
