Medwander is an upcoming medical tourism platform based in India, connecting international patients with accredited hospitals and experienced healthcare providers for a wide range of medical treatments. We are expanding our global outreach and seeking dynamic Business Development Partners in various countries to help us identify potential patients and drive our business growth.

Position Overview: As a Business Development Partner, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Medwander's presence in your designated region. You will be responsible for identifying potential patients, building relationships with local healthcare providers, and developing strategies to increase patient referrals to our partner hospitals in India. This role requires a proactive approach, strong networking skills, and a deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential patient segments, local healthcare trends, and opportunities for growth in your region.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads of potential patients seeking medical treatments abroad. Utilize various channels such as social media, local healthcare events, and partnerships with local clinics.
  • Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, medical professionals, and organizations to establish a reliable referral network.

  • Patient Consultation: Engage with potential patients to understand their medical needs, provide information about treatment options available in India, and assist in the initial consultation process.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and negotiate partnerships with local clinics, hospitals, and medical practitioners to enhance referral opportunities.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities to attract patients.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, patient leads, and conversion rates. Share insights on regional market trends and potential challenges.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all activities adhere to local regulations and ethical standards in medical tourism.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or healthcare marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare system and medical tourism industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
  • A network of contacts within the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in local language and English is required.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
