Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements
We are hiring an Emerging Technologies Centre Technician.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science or IT.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an academic or research setting, Entry-level master’s degree holders in a related area will be considered
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
- Hands-on experience with robotics kits, microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pl), 3D printing, and AI tools
- Experience designing and modelling with 3D CAD software
- Experience or understanding of working within a transactional educational environment
- A high degree of motivation within the field of robotics and AI, with a strong desire to innovate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of lab safety procedures and regulations
Location: North Kaneshie – Accra
