Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models of furniture pieces and interior layouts based on design specifications and concept art
- Utilize Autodesk 3ds Max extensively for modelling texturing, lighting and rendering
- Render high-quality images and animations of furniture and interior spaces, ensuring visual fidelity for presentations, marketing materials and client approvals
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, product designers and other team members to ensure models meet the project’s aesthetic and technical requirements
- Revise models and renders based on feedback from designers, clients and team members to achieve the desired quality and artistic vision
- Maintain proficiency with industry-standard 3D modeling, texturing and rendering software such as 3ds Max, sketchup, Blender and V-Ray.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques and technologies in 3D modelling and rendering to continually improve the quality and realism of visual presentations
Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, industrial design, computer Animation or related field preferred
- Relevant certification or coursework in 3D modelling, computer graphics or digital arts beneficial
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a 3D modeler & render, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise
Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max for modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering
- knowledge of rendering plugins such as V-Ray or Corona renderer preferred
- Familiarity with other 3D software and tools beneficial (e.g. Blender, Sketchup)
