Winrock International is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity, and sustain natural resources. Winrock is implementing the Making Advances to Eliminate Child Labor in More Areas with Sustainable Integrated Efforts (MATE MASIE) project, which runs through May 2025.
The project is funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) and strengthens capacity, connections, and accountability across child labor enforcement and monitoring within cocoa cooperatives in Ghana and builds the capacity of cooperatives to support vulnerable member households directly and by linking their members with other service providers.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities to include financial reports, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, auditing field office vouchers, and other general accounting functions. He/she will also ensure field-based adherence to donor and Winrock financial policies and procedures, regulations, controls, and reporting systems.
