Job Description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Esoko, you will be pivotal in designing and developing intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces for our messaging and survey platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless and impactful user experiences that drive the success of businesses across Africa and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to gather requirements and translate them into interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing of frontend components and resolve any bugs or performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process and user experience.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior front-end engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and standards.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of APIs and backend services
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, focusing on designing and developing complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous request handling.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
