The High Commission of Canada in Ghana seeks to recruit a Public Financial Management (PFM) Specialist.
Consultants applying for this position must have the following knowledge and qualification
- Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in economics, finance, public administration or accounting
- Professional qualification as an economist or certified chartered accountant
The consultant should also have the following experience and skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in working in the field of public financial management, of which a minimum of 5 years of experience must be in public financial management policy and/or programme delivery preferably in or for a bilateral or multilateral development institution
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Ghana
- Demonstrated experience in working with government/or donors in a technical capacity on a variety of public financial management issues with attention to project planning, budgeting and monitoring, including in government donor coordinate groups
- Excellent English writing skills
