Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, to diagnose and repair equipment/system.
- Inspect, Install, and repair electronic security systems to specifications and quality expectations.
- Inspect the battery for proper voltage, IAW manufacturer’s specifications
- Assemble and program new panels and equipment to ensure proper functionality and operation.
- Provide the highest technical support, isolating and resolving the most complex fault conditions.
- Ensure all assigned badge equipment is operated correctly, remains operational and receives properly scheduled maintenance.
- Work with IT Officer to establish test techniques for new products during development and to resolve product or equipment problems, and may install, characterize and/or design equipment.
- Proactive and reactive response to security issues, including denial of Service attacks, suspicious or abnormal network activity and general customer security inquiries.
- Notify program management immediately of any irregularities or breaches of procedures related to any badge, access, or other security issues.
- Service and troubleshoot systems based on industry-approved guidelines.
- Competencies
- Knowledge on the use of M8 Software for operations.
- Experience in installing CAT5, CAT6, and Coaxial cables (Coax), with attention to neatness in cabling.
- Strong Communication and teamwork Skills.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Ensures,the company uses the latest methods and technologies to improve its operations.
- Ability to align operational strategies with the company's broader vision and goals, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
- Have both the ability and desire to expand their knowledge in the security systems integration industry.
- Possess the ability to take instruction and work well autonomously.
- Be reliable, trainable, and teachable.

Required Skills or Experience
Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat and climb heights.
- Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond to emergencies.
- Aware of safety and Environmental procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of HND in Electrical Engineering.
- Certified Alarm Technician (CAT) License by (ESA) is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer/Technician.
- Possesses at least Three (3) years of experience in electronics installation and maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
- Must have practical knowledge of Electric fencing, Gate Automation, Access Control, Fire suppression Alarm system, computer programming and site management.
- Possesses a valid Driver’s License
