The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes and systems to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and continuously improving quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
- Oversee the implementation of aflatoxin testing methods to ensure product safety.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mycotoxin testing and incorporate them into the company’s processes.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in the quality assurance process and implement necessary changes
- Oversee quality tests and procedures.
- Review and approve test results and reports.
- Maintain detailed records of all quality assurance activities, test results, and corrective actions
- Manage and guide the quality assurance team.
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in peanut or nut processing.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance principles, and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Proven experience in managing quality assurance teams and driving quality improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
