Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits according to International Standards for Auditing.
• Prepare financial statements in line with regulatory requirements and IFRS.
• Analyze financial statement accounts and report on trends and reasonableness.
• Perform walkthrough, assess and document the effectiveness of the design and operating effectiveness of controls and propose recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare proposals; budgets and profitability analysis for audit engagements.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of practical accounting and financial statement audit experience with a reputable accounting and audit firm.
• Fully or partly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICA/GAAP or equivalent.
• At least a second-class Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Tax/ Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics from a reputable institution.
