Inspire Her Ghana is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing and Communication Assistant to support our marketing and communication efforts. The Assistant will work closely with the Marketing and Communication team to execute marketing strategies, manage communication channels, and assist in the development of promotional materials.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a passion for marketing and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and dissemination of marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, and digital content.
  • Managing social media social media activities, including developing and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Attend all outdoor events, shows, conferences, etc. to exhibit and market products and services
  • Research to gather data on market trends, competitor activity, and audience demographics.
  • Help maintain and update marketing databases, contact lists, and media archives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, including gathering analytics and generating reports.
  • Managing organization’s websites including ensuring updates, content, enquiries, projects, etc as well as emails.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing files.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication.

Qualification Required & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a marketing or communication role is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various channels.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
