Objective
- The Ticketing Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers. Responsibilities
- Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from various travel options.
- Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Check the availability of accommodation based on the customers’ desired travel dates.
- Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
- Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchases by confirming, changing, or cancelling the reservations
- Notifying passengers about involuntary flight rescheduling or cancellations
- Selling add-on travel products, such as hotels, travel insurance, etc.
- Informing clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical and visa requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing role.
- Applicants should know how to issue and reissue tickets, know how to do refunds, and have a diploma/consultant in IATA/ UFTAA, which is also a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
- A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft, that is, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
