The Head of Talent, Learning & Culture Lead is in charge of all facets of talent acquisition, development, employee experience and organisational wiring in South Africa, Ghana, Francos and Nigeria.
Flexible location – based in either South Africa, Nigeria or Ghana
About You
Business Strategy
- Craft Sub-saharan Transformation agenda to enable business performance
Talent Management
- Lead talent management strategy for Sub-saharan Africa i.e. buy, borrow or build talent pipelines
- Facilitate talent & performance calibration sessions in Sub-saharan Africa
- Deploy innovative strategies to promote the employee value proposition
Learning
- Lead Sub-saharan capability programmes by skilling, reskilling and aniticipating future learning needs based on medium to long term growth plans

Organisational design
- Manage fixed costs in line with business strategy
- Review country org models in line with business strategy, processes/tools, systems, capabilities and internal benchmarks
Culture
- Create and implement strategies to promote a positive, collaborative company culture in line with Danone Values, behaviours and People Survey Results.
People & Teams
- Lead a team of 7 professionals
Requirements And Qualifications
- Completed HR Related Degree
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably overseeing Talent, Learning, Culture and Organisation design in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Lead with right values i.e. humanism, openness, proximity and enthusiasm
- Put Danone First – We act and work as one team, across countries and functions
- Lead with People – We grow as leaders by developing others
- We keep it simple – We deal with complexity by bringing focus and a pragmatic approach
- Be Accountable – We are decisive and fact-based
- Walk the Talk – We do what we say, acting as role models
