Avram Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data Manager to join our team and lead the implementation of an internal DHIS2 platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, configuring, customizing, testing, deploying, and providing ongoing support for the platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in DHIS2, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to understand current program data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the program team to discuss and finalize the design of the internal DHIS2 platform.
- Install and configure the internal DHIS2 platform based on the identified needs.
- Develop organization units and hierarchies, including groupings and ownership for targeted facilities.
- Create data elements, datasets, and indicators.
- Design data entry forms for efficient data capture with online, offline, and mobile capabilities.
- Develop dashboards and interactive scorecards for various activity areas.
- Create import scripts for bulk data import.
- Establish user roles and groups, manage user routines, define access to features, ensure appropriate content sharing, and implement data security protocols.
- Conduct thorough testing of the internal DHIS2 platform to ensure functionality and data integrity.
- Develop comprehensive user manuals and training materials.
- Conduct training sessions, either virtually or in-person, in Accra,
- Incorporate feedback from users and update the internal DHIS2 platform before full deployment.
- Support the deployment of the internal DHIS2 platform, ensuring mobile capabilities are fully functional.

Components and Deliverables:
The internal DHIS2 platform should include the following components:
- Facilitate monthly reporting on 20 performance indicators using data from DHIMS 2, with dashboards and interactive scorecards for visualization.
- Enable data collection for 21 periodic health facility-based indicators through health facility surveys.
- Monitor the implementation of QI projects following the Plan-Do-Study-Act model and evaluate their effectiveness in improving health outcomes.
- Track the implementation of action plans during supportive supervision visits.
- Enhance and monitor supportive supervision visits to WITs by regional and district supervisors.
Deliverables:
- A fully functional internal DHIS2 platform that meets the program’s requirements and can be deployed through the DHIS2 mobile application.
- Comprehensive user manuals and training materials.
- Detailed test reports documenting the platform's functionality.
- Effective training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in implementing and managing DHIS2 platforms.
- Strong technical skills in data configuration, customization, and security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to conduct training and develop user documentation.
- Experience in health data management and working with international health programs is preferred.
