Job Description
Key Roles
- Coordination: Logistics Agents coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to distributors. They work with shipping companies, warehouses, and retailers to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: They manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are available when needed without overstocking.
- Order Processing: Logistics Agents handle order processing, from receiving orders to ensuring their fulfillment.
- Shipment Tracking: They track shipments and provide updates on delivery status to customers and stakeholders.
- Documentation: Preparing and managing documentation for shipping and receiving, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs and import/export regulations.
- Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during transportation, such as delays, damages, or lost shipments.
- Cost Management: Managing transportation costs and finding ways to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills or Experience

- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure all paperwork and processes are accurate.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficiency with logistics software and tools.
