The Islamic University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for Human Resource Management Officer.
Responsibilities
Without prejudice to any other responsibilities as may be determined by the President and Management of the University college, the officer of Human Resource Management shall, among other things, be responsible to the Registrar for:
- Advising Management board and council on the mix of staff needed to ensure an effective teaching and learning environment at IUCG
- Enforcement of all regulations and rules about employment, welfare, development and dismissal of all categories of staff
- Verifying and authenticating the publications, documents and certificates of employees
- Periodic review of IUCG staff development policy and to enforce its implementations
- Processing of staff applications for annual leave, study leave and travel request
- Advising academic board and council on the future staff needs of IUCG, by the medium-term and long-term planned academic, professional and skills training programmes of IUCG
- Ensuring that any disciplinary action imposed on any category of staff by a recognised authority of the University College is complied with
- Performing such other duties relating to quality assurance as may be prescribed by the President or management board or academic board or council

Qualification Required & Experience
- Applicant must have a minimum of MPhil/MSc in a relevant field plus a professional certificate in Human Resource Management with at least 5 years working experience
- Applicant must demonstrate a high level of integrity, competence and leadership
