Responsibilities
- To be fully in charge of the IT infrastructure of the Hotel
- Manages, Maintains & troubleshooting of all related hardware & software
- Coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting of all the MICROS Applications and hardware
- Assisting in the maintenance of the Leased circuits and coordinating with service providers for troubleshooting and other technical issues regarding the services
- Providing Technical support to all IT resource users in the Hotel
- Ensure that the Backups and taken & stored properly
- Ensure all job-related documents maintained properly
- Keeps the management well-informed of the status of the IT infrastructure and recommends corrective actions
- Maintain correct levels of authorization & security of all the USer Accounts in the IT resource
- Implement and follow-up the Policies & Procedures and SOPs for the IT Department
- Improves user ability to use the facility properly
- Conducts comparative analysis when necessary
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of the IT resource
- Presents and implements technological alternatives to streamline functions and improve productivity
- Ensures compliance with all software licensing agreements
- Develops and maintains an excellent working relationship with Service Providers, Colleagues & Team
- Maintains knowledge of new technologies by reading technology periodicals and attending tradeshows, technical seminars and training sessions
Qualification Required & Experience
- Degree in IT Hospitality or Business Administration
- At least 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a management position in the IT field
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar class hotel
- IT Degree or Diploma from a recognised institution
- Minimum of 5 years to 7 years with strong commercial focus and business sense. Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literate, i.e, word, excel, Fidelio
- Advanced – English communication skills, written and verbal
- Leadership sense
- Organisational ability
- Intermediate – Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint.
