Job Description
In summary, these are the duties:
- To plan, and deliver the KG1 curriculum by preparing weekly lesson plans,
- To teach using a range of age appropriate learning styles, indoors, outdoors include digital learning (ICT)
- To be willing to support the Montessori and British approach to teaching
- To advise the Head Teacher about any concerns regarding children, parents or safety
- To monitor and maintain accurate records of children’s progress
- To assess, mark and prepare reports for management and parents
- To maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines at all times
- other duties as directed by the head teacher
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Certificate/ Diploma /Degree in Early Childhood Education or Basic Education / Montessori or equivalent will be considered
- Must be ICT literate or willing to learn free training given
- If a non-professional teacher you must be willing to work towards gaining the NTC mandatory teacher license
- National Service personnel who have teaching experience OR who would like to do their national service at our school can also apply
- Applicants must have a teaching background with a minimum 1 year of experience working in a preschool
- Be flexible and willing to learn, have the love and enthusiasm for working with preschool children
