This role is looking after Electrical services for Shut down (turnaround) and project work in the Pilbara and Port Headland region on our Five Year FMG projects.
Leadership & Management programs: SRG Global fully support and promote organic growth within our organisation. We will provide internal and external training and development opportunities that allow you to further develop your technical, leadership and management skills, providing opportunities for strong performers to progress their careers and move into Superintendent positions.
Flexibility: Casual rate $85 DS /$91 NS Flat hourly rate with super paid on all hours.
Permanent for high performers or someone willing to relocate to Pilbara or Port Hedland.
Relocation assistance can be provided for anyone who would be open to relocation.
Laptop + Phone + Accommodation and Flights provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of substantial electrical maintenance team including electricians, apprentices, and trades assistants
- Liaise with the Site Manager as required throughout the day, to review project workload.
- Scoping of potential works during estimation phase to advise on correct manning and equipment levels.
- Coordination and distribution of workload to personnel in an efficient manner.
- Assist site administration in the preparation of project roster and manning levels prior to mobilizing
- Electrical Nominee sign off for all installations works..
- Monitor the equipment to ensure compliance with legislative and IRATA requirements
- Ensure compliance with all specific legislative and site requirements
- To give the highest level of service possible to all of our clients.
- Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site at all times.
- To carry out all other reasonable requests in line with the terms of employment.

The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have
- Previous experience as electrical Supervisor
- Trade Certificate - Electrotechnology
- WA Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in estimating work scopes through to execution
- Safety Awareness Training Card (white card)
- Section 44 Training – Appointed Persons
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Strong computer systems skills and knowledge
- A qualification in Management (e.g. Frontline Management) would be highly regarded.
