Company Driver - Sunda International

A company driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, materials, and/or passengers to and from designated locations. This role requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and defensive manner.
• Adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and the vehicle.
• Perform routine checks on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Familiarize oneself with delivery locations and schedules.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods or materials as needed.
• Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driving activities, including logbooks, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Comply with any paperwork required for the transportation of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service, especially when dealing with passengers or clients.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Previous experience as a company driver may be required.
• Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (if required for loading/unloading).
• Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to read maps and use navigation systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
