We are seeking to hire a salesperson with integrity, energy and drive. The role plays an essential part in generating revenue for the funeral home in the following areas.
Main Funeral Home Services and Facilities: Custodial care, sale of facilities (chapel, reception areas, hearses, and burial plots), and all other services offered by the funeral home.
Embalming Products: sale of embalming products for which the funeral home is a licenced distributor.
The salesperson must be able to network and build relevant relationships – with hospitals, smaller morgues funeral service providers like pallbearer groups, hearse providers etc. to generate leads for business.
The role holder must also collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client needs to ensure that the sales promise is kept.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Core Funeral Homes Services and Facilities
- Develop a comprehensive actionable sales plan for assigned performance targets.
- Prospecting by building the right relationships – hospital morgues, funeral services providers.
- Generate and manage leads.

- Promote the funeral home brand and all its products and services.
- Able to prepare and pitch services to groups – companies, societies and unions etc.
- Follows through on all customer problems and requests.
- Builds trust-based relationships to earn the right to ask for referrals.
- Dodge Chemicals
- Learn and understand Dodge Chemical's product portfolio.
- Develop and execute a sales plan for mortuaries and smaller facilities including hospitals that may need these products anywhere in Ghana.
- Promote the Dodge Brand and LFHL as the authorised representative.
Required Skills or Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher National Diploma or its equivalent, a degree preferably in sales and marketing
- Minimum SSCE certificate with relevant experience
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred (especially in insurance sales)
- Ability to drive, hold a valid Ghana driver’s license.
