A free Zones Company within the Tema Akosombo Road is looking for competent persons to fill the position of an Accountant.
REQUIREMENT:
- Complying with all company, local and state accounting and financial regulations.
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Computing taxes.
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Exceptional financial and analytical skills with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
- Project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels including non-finance members of staff.
- organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP Accounting Software is a requirement.
EDUCATION
- A first degree/diploma in accounting plus 3 or more years experience
- CA/ACCA is a plus
